Christmas Movie Countdown Advent Calendar

Say toodaloo to holiday boredom and hello to a lively Holiday Season with our Christmas Movie Countdown Advent Calendar. Inspired by 12 holiday classics, each calendar features hand-dyed yarn by Dye Pretty Yarn + Fibre, miniature sock and mitten blockers by Bear Valley Fibres, as well as delightful surprises along the way. You don't want to miss this festive extravaganza!

On December 1st, open your first mini-skein, snuggle up and knit your mini sock or mitten while watching the inspiration movie, ready for the blocker the next day! Each of the 12 mini skeins of Tiara Sock Fingering may be speckled, variegated or tonal and will be complimented every second day by a mini sock or mitten blocker ornament to display your creation.

The 25th day will have a full sized, movie-inspired skein of Tiara Sock Fingering ready for an end of year cast-on or a future project!

Each day’s gift will be individually wrapped, numbered and ready to open.

The yarn:
Tiara Sock: 80% superwash merino, 20% nylon | fingering weight sock yarn
12 Mini Skeins: Choose from 37yds / 10g OR 74yds / 20g each (Total 120g or 240g)
Additional full skein: 389m / 115g | 425yds per 4oz

The blockers: Each miniature sock or mitten blocker is 3D printed out of 100% PLA in small batches in Ontario. The blockers measure roughly 3" from top to bottom.

The patterns: Each calendar will come with a printed copy of the "Movie Snacks Mini Mitten & Socks" pattern. Designed by Rachel Ewen of Bear Valley Fibres, these bite-sized patterns will have you well on your way to making your collection of knitted ornaments!

Each item is unique and one of a kind. No two skeins will ever be identical even within one dye lot. If using more than one skein for a project it is best to alternate skeins.
All yarns are dyed by Marisa of Dye Pretty Yarn + Fibre using professional acid dyes. All yarns is washed after dyeing, but they may bleed on the first wash. Hand wash and lay flat to dry.
